Who knew this was celebrated today?? (Although we call it pannhaas) But I see people put ketchup or maple syrup over it?

Even though we are closed - the work never ends! (Well the organizing to be precise!)

Here is a newspaper clipping for our dear friends at Balls Mills United Methodist Church - and for those who missed their ice cream social last week - you missed a great meal - and more importantly - the ice cream!!!! (Rumor has it at least one person made a meal on just the ice cream - but no names will be given!)

An interesting article about the Shafer Apple Butter fest. I will defer to the "experts" if the rule still holds that the 40-50 year olds are "just not old enough" to rule the apple butter right.
