It is with great sorrow to learn of the Bishop’s passing a few days ago. Our prayers and condolences go out to Dr. Sabrina Ellis and her family. Bishop Ellis was larger than life, but always took time at every Joint College of Bishops Congress to stop by and talk, usually with a story and inquiry of how’s Philadelphia doing?! We had a connection from not only both being from Philly, but I lived on the street he was born on. He was kind, charismatic and one of a kind. I am forever grateful for all he introduced me to, as well as endorsing my jewelry. No doubt he will do great works from above and we will miss him dearly.
