It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the permanent closure of our Black Walnut Tasting Room & Wine Bar in Phoenixville, PA effective August 31, 2020, after a successful 10 year presence in the Phoenixville community (Black Walnut was the first wine tasting room in downtown Phoenixville). Our 10 year lease on this space will expire at the end of August, and our landlord needs to reclaim the space to support his new business venture. The winery in Sadsburyville,... PA, only 30 minutes from Phoenixville, remains open. We would like to express a world of gratitude to Alan Prescott, our Phoenixville Tasting Room Manager and the face of Black Walnut in Phoenixville for more than 9 years. Alan has always provided our guests with an exceptional wine tasting experience, has become a personal friend to many of you, and has been instrumental in the success of Black Walnut Winery in Phoenixville. Please stop by sometime during the next few weeks to raise a glass and say farewell to Alan. We would also like to express our gratitude to the friends of Black Walnut Winery, tasting room guests, the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce and the Phoenixville business community, who have provided an immeasurable level of support to us and our business in Phoenixville for the past 10 years. The connections we have made with all of you will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you as well to the many talented musicians who have provided extraordinary entertainment for us and our guests. Slight Changes in operations with recent (17Jul2020) COVID-19 mitigation orders from the governor. Sadsburyville Location: o Hours: Sat and Sun 12-6 PM until further notice o Mask/Face covering: Must be worn at all times unless seated at a table... o Reservations required for groups of 4 or more: *Email: [email protected] *Call: 610-857-5566 o Tastings: Still not able to do full tastings at the bar. In place of a tasting we are offering a 5 wine flight sampling for $7 (same price as the 5 wine tasting). *Must be done seated at a table: inside (must order food) or outside (no food order required) o Wine Sales: *Bottle and glass sales are still available: ~ Inside consumption: If you want to enjoy your wine inside at the winery you will need to purchase food. ~ Outside consumption: No food purchase is required. ~ Bottle sales to go continue to available. BWW winery, Sadsburyville

It was great to have live music at the winery again yesterday!! Thank you Deb Callahan and everyone that came out to enjoy an afternoon of social distancing on the patio. We are doing it again this afternoon with Tom Guest and Mark Furman on the patio from 2-5. Tickets are still available for purchase at the door ($20/person, children are free). In addition to some great music to support our local musicians you also will receive a BWW logo glass and one glass of wine (port n...ot included) or beer of your choice. You can of course also buy wine by the glass or bottle. We also have meat/cheese plates and other light fare available for purchase or you can bring along your own food. Reminder: mask/face covering must be worn at all times while not seated at our table. No other alcohol allowed on the property. We look forward to seeing you here at the winery. We will be open from 12 -6 today.

Deb Callahan will be playing today on the patio 2-5. Tickets still available for purchase ($20) at the door. Because this is a ticketed event the patio will be closed during that time to ticket holders only. In addition to supporting a great local band your ticket price also includes a free BWW logo glass and either a glass of wine or a beer of your choice. As always we have a selection of Sly Fox beer available to choose from. Reminder: mask/face covering must be worn at all times unless seated at your table.

Live music is on for tomorrow, July 4! Deb Callahan Band from 2pm-5pm. We were planning to cancel due to low ticket sales, but have decided to move forward with the concert. Tickets can be purchased online at www.localwineevents.com or you can call the winery at 610-857-5566. NOTE: Masks are required. You may remove them when seated at a table.

For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting its return...Pinot Grigio is back! Our 2018 Pinot Grigio will be available for purchase in Sadsburyville beginning today and in Phoenixville beginning tomorrow. Limited production, so be sure to get yours soon!
