I had a period of about 3 weeks where I was just listening to Eviatar Banai, I'd wake up in the morning and put on some earphones and just listen to his music e...veryday. I can't say I understand everything he's saying but I felt very connected to the place that he was writing his music from. Ohr Batzel is definitely one of my favorites so I decided to do a little live cover of it. Hope you enjoy See more

Two summers ago I was in Israel with a good friend of mine doing volunteer work with the soldiers there. During the day we spent time strolling around with back...packs, giving out drinks and sweets and exchanging short smiles and conversation. At night we spent time serving hot, dark coffee and cracking jokes to keep the sleepy awake. With those who had energy, we sat for hours sharing thoughts, getting personal and dabbling in the depths of life. I was exhausted, but felt filled with incredible energy and light. One night, I was on the couch, just writing about how I felt. How being filled with positivity and good energy didn’t allow any darkness to invade my atmosphere. And so, heavy walls came about. I'm excited for you guys to hear it :) If you have Spotify you can pre-save it here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/yosefdavid/heavy-walls Thanks for all the love and support See more

"Mayim Rabim" are the Hebrew words for "Mighty Waters." This song was inspired by a Hassidic Discourse discussing struggle and worry that people have in this wo...rld. I wrote this song expressing how my personal struggles can't disconnect me from my source, and that there will always be the ability to overcome it and be happy within me. In addition to struggle not being able to destroy me or us, it has the power and potential to bring us to higher and better place if learned how to deal with and used as a stepping stone. Just like a surfer utilizes the water to surf. I'm excited to share the song with you guys, I hope you'll enjoy it. See more
