The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act provides Economic Impact Payments of: * $1.2k per adult for individuals whose income was less than $99k (or $198k for joint filers) * $500 per child under 17 years old * Or up to $3.4k for a family of four.... Most individuals and families received their Economic Impact Payments earlier in the year. However, if you did NOT receive your stimulus payment or you didn’t receive the full amount of the payment you STILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO RECEIVE STIMULUS MONEY that you are eligible for. When you file your 2020 Form 1040 you may be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit which will allow you to obtain a credit relating to the Economic Stimulus Impact monies you were eligible to receive. Be sure to consult with your tax advisor to ensure that you receive the appropriate Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 taxes.
