The Council meetings for the remainder of 2021: October 14th November 4th December 9th All meetings start at 6:00 pm

Yesterday there were multiple unlocked vehicles entered in the area of Woodmont, Josephine, Helena, Edna, and surrounding streets. The actors are described as two taller black males and it is believed that this started around 6pm. The police department is asking anyone that may have video to check it and to contact the police at 412-824-0324.

Allegheny County is in need of poll workers for the November election in the East McKeesport area. Go to www.alleghenyvotes.com to register.

Tucker, a large male tabby cat went missing on January 2nd. He lives on Broadway Avenue. If anyone sees him can you please contact his owner Lisa at 724-493-8425

Public announcement : The recycling bins we have on Chicora Street are for recycling only and for our residents. Lately people have been throwing diapers and other garbage in there that contaminates the bins therefore making that load useless. The Borough is installing cameras there because we want our residents to be able to take their recyclables somewhere but we need to stop the people who are abusing it. Please do not put anything in the bins that doesn't belong there! Also, when the bins are full please do not leave bags sitting outside the bin. They will not pick it up. Thanks!
