Today is the annual Winter Solstice. It is the shortest day of the year, with just 9 hours and 18 minutes of daylight in Jefferson Hills. This Winter Solstice has nearly 6 more hours of darkness than the Summer Solstice had this past June. On the bright side, each day moving forward will have slightly more daylight until the next Summer Solstice in June 2021!
Thank you to all Veterans for their service and sacrifice to our great county. We salute you today and every day!
