I've cut my hours back starting Monday, April 19. I will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday. Those hours will continue until Monday, May 17. I will be out of the office from Tuesday, May 18 until Saturday, May 22. My hours starting Monday, May 24 will be 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday, and Saturdays by appointment.

It looks like I've gotten a reprieve. It appears that the IRS is extending the tax filing season to May 15th. I'm so grateful for that because of the volume of work that I have and the tax changes that were included in the stimulus bill and signed into law on Friday, March 12.

Starting Monday, February 1 I'm expanding my office hours. I will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday thru Friday, and from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays. These hours will be in effect until Thursday, April 15.

I'm making some requests of everyone who comes into my office during tax season. First of all, I'm requiring that everyone coming in wear masks. I'm not being forced to do this but due to the Covid situation it's something that I feel I should do. My second request is that I will have to know whether or not you and your spouse (if applicable) received each round of stimulus checks and the total amount you received each time. They are not subject to income tax, but you could receive a credit for the amounts you didn't receive. The credit would increase your refund by the amounts you didn't receive, or reduce the amount you may owe if you're not due a refund.

My hours for the month of January will be 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 on Saturday. I will expand my hours starting February 1.

Starting today I have changed my hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, and Saturdays will be by appointment only. Since tax season has been extended to July 15 I see no reason to stay until 8:00 PM now, and I need time to do things at home.

I'm back in the office keeping regular hours. The last few days have been difficult due to the death of my dad, and I apologize to anyone who came to the office or tried to call me.

The accounting profession was taken off the list of businesses that had to close. Tom Wolf was facing legal challenges to his order and backed down. But I never closed. I stayed open despite his unconstitutional order. So I'm still open and keeping the same hours.

Thanks to Tom Wolf, the joke of a governor of Pennsylvania, all businesses that aren't life-sustaining are ordered to shut down. And I'm one of them. Now I'm going to have to notify all of my appointments, of which there are many, that they can't come in because of Der Fuhrer Wolf's utterly ridiculous edict. Bear with me, everyone. We'll get through it somehow. Unfortunately, at this moment, I don't know how we will.

I did not or will not shut down. I'm keeping the same hours I always have.
