It is with great excitement that we are announcing that we are moving! Through nearly 100 years of Bowser Dentistry, every generation has upgraded their facilities to allow for growth and technological advancement. By continuing to reinvest in our practice, we will be able to carry on the Bowser tradition of premiere dental care in York. Our new location will be 845 Edgewood Road in East York (the Longstown Intersection close to Heritage Hills). Our current offices located on E. Market Street & Wyntre Brooke Drive will be closing. Our Staff from both locations will be moving into the new office. The targeted Grand Opening is January 4, 2021. We'll see you in the new office!

Children aged 15 and younger who are scheduled for an appointment are invited to submit an entry for the quarterly drawing. Governor Wolf and the PA Department of Health have teamed up to get all dentists in the state of PA back into business as of May 11th. We are now open! However, your next visit to our office will be much different than your last. Using CDC and OSHA guidance, we have adopted many new procedures and protocols to protect our patients and team members and to control the spread of COVID-19. Please call our office if you would like to know what we are doing differently. Expect a call from us if you have an upcoming appointment to advise you how these changes affect your appointment. We will also be contacting patients who missed their appointments from the start of the pandemic to this point. We will be working hard to get in contact with all of you, and please forgive us if our phone lines are busy!

To our patients, At this time, Bowser Dentistry is providing emergency care only to our patients who are experiencing pain, swelling, and broken teeth. If you have a dental emergency, please call 717-757-3474 to obtain our emergency contact information. All non-emergency dental visits from now through April 5, 2020 have been cancelled. We will be constantly reevaluating the situation and posting updates as soon as possible. To our patients, Late last night the American Dental Association released a recommendation for all dental offices to discontinue treatment of non-critical dental needs for 3 weeks. Given the widespread nature of this virus, we at Bowser Dentistry feel it is responsible for us to do all we can to limit the spread of Covid-19 and protect the most vulnerable among us. For this reason, we will be closing our office to non-emergency patients as of 5pm today, 3/17/2020. We will con...tinue to monitor the situation and evaluate whether the entire 3 weeks will be necessary. If you have an appointment within the next 2 weeks we will be calling to reschedule. If by the end of the second week we feel we need to remain closed, our patients will be called for the third week to reschedule as well. Bowser Dentistry will remain open to emergency patients only during this time. An emergency contact number can be reached by calling either of our locations and listening to the voicemail message. To reduce the burden on our healthcare system in this time of crisis, we do not want any of our patients going to the hospital or any other emergency clinic for a dental related injury or pain. To our patients, With the continued spread of Covid-19 in Pennsylvania, it is our job to evaluate the safety of our patients and staff. We are deciding at this time to continue to follow ADA guidelines on the subject which state that we should continue to remain open and deliver care to our patients using universal precautions.We have implemented a few extra precautions that we will follow until the outbreak has settled down. For one, you may notice that we don't shake hands.... If you elect to reschedule your appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible to let us know. There will be children home from schools who may be interested in your appointment times. We do ask that if you have symptoms of the virus (fever, coughing, or shortness of breath) please reschedule your appointment if it's within the next few weeks, and contact your primary care doctor!
