Boyd Instrument can now fly our Topcon Falcon 8+ over people working in a quarry. We received our Part 107 Operational Waiver request 107W-2019-04914 - Over People in Quarry.
Test stand for Falcon 8+ repairs is ready to go.
Took the Falcon 8+ out for a demo yesterday. Less than ideal conditions but it performed perfectly. I was told that a competitor said a drone wouldn’t work in this area. Flew a waypoint mission down the creek without any issues.
In Photoscan I ran the classify ground points. Then generated 2 foot contours.
