A local business recently donated new recliners and a new couch to our fire station. We are looking to donate our old furniture to a resident in Braddock, Rankin or East Pittsburgh. Free of charge you haul. Please PM for more info.

Attention Rankin Residents Starting Monday, July 27th they waterline replacement project will resume. Please be advise that 4th Street will be closed except loc...al traffic. The waterline replacement project will resume on Monday, July 27th, please be advised that 4th Street will be closed to all traffic and there will be NO Parking on either side of the street. Blazing bingo update After a discussion with the Allegheny County Health Department, we will not be able to operate bingo until at least Sunday July 26th. We will know a better date when the next order is issued from the health department.

As of July 6 2020 at 20:00 Rivers Edge Volunteer Fire Department station 2 (Rankin) is no longer operational. This will not affect any emergency response in the town of rankin. All fire apparatus and members will respond out of station 1 (Braddock) which is located on Braddock ave. As always our first priority is the safety of our members and the towns we serve, if you have any questions feel free to message us on this Facebook account.
