Brad Flashing Back

Born in 1837, Lee Raney took over his father's mill business in Edinburg PA before the age of 16. A successful business man and philanthropist, Lee later took residency in New Castle and built "The Castle" of New Castle in 1890. Being a Mason, it's obvious to see why he chose to build an entire home out of carved rock. This house is privately owned and news articles show current owners are collaborating with historical societies to restore.

Brad Flashing Back went on a journey today to capture some cool shots in nature and found that many of the walking trails near the Shenango Reservoir were flooded over. Do these photos remind you of Louisiana?

This bridge, built in 1874 is part of a favorite mill many of us know that processed corn, oat, and wheat clear until 1928.
