Bradford County Manor welcomes Heather Sterling as the new Assistant Director of Nursing. Heather comes to us with 15 years of nursing experience. She attended Northern Tier Career center to obtain her LPN license and worked in this capacity for eleven years. During this time she gained her experience in Physician’s office and Long Term care. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University and has been and RN for four years. Prior to coming to The... Manor in November of 2020 she worked as a circulating nurse in the operating room and also gained experience as Case Manager for Home Health Agency. Heather and her Husband Shey have been married for 17 years and have 2 daughters Alyssa, 14 and Brinley, 9. She loves spending time with her family in Laceyville. Heather enjoys her time with her family especially watching her daughters sporting events. Bradford County Manor welcomes Heather and her experience in the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. With hard work and dedication through nursing school these ladies passed the NCLEX nursing boards. Certified Nurses Aid Program Are you looking to start a career in the Nursing field? Come start with us. We don’t just offer jobs we offer careers. Our county retirement plan is a great opportunity to start your futures security. We offer a paid Certified Nursing Aid program. Earn money while achieving your certification. At Bradford County Manor we offer positions in nursing at the time of graduation. Completion of the course includes 11 days of class training and 6 days... of clinical training. We are currently offering a Temporary Nurse Aide program that can be completed with an 8 hour computer program and skills training. Both of these positions have a starting rate of $11.75/hr. with wage increase after certification. CNA Positions Available with Immediate openings. Not a morning person or enjoy working evenings or overnight? We currently have immediate openings for second and third shift CNAs. These positions offer shift differential wage. We are offering a career in nursing which includes a county benefit package, vacation/ paid time off, annual raises and the opportunity to enroll in other county options such as life insurance, long/short term disability and retirement program.
