Update on the Friendship Table. We are continuing to serve takeout dinners Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 pm. This also includes a bag lunch for the next day. Since March 16th we have given out over 3000 take outs and bag lunches. All we ask is that recipients observe social distancing when picking up their meals. Also a big thank you to Kevin Tierbery and B and T contractors and Janitorial service for taking care of sterilization of the Friendship Table at no cost! Tha...nk you Tierbery family! Kudos to all our staff and volunteers For doing an amazing job. If you would like to make a donation go to: https://friendshiptable.churchcenter.com/giving
Today’s report from Dr Mill’s: Coronavirus Update March 31, 2020 Today’s factoid: McKean County PA still has only one positive case, while Cattaraugus County is up to 6. Today’s Updates: Remember that a patient’s diagnosis is Protected Health Information (PHI). Don’t let the media hype affect your brain. Don’t share PHI! Also don’t look at things you shouldn’t be looking at.... Masks are arriving! We will begin our universal masking protocol this week. More details coming shortly. Remember COVID-19 is a disease to be respected, not feared. If we all remember to do what we have been trained to do, we will beat this. Our creativity is beginning to pay off and we are getting the supplies that we will need. COVID testing is still in very short supply. The tents going up at the hospitals are in preparation for a surge of COVID patients. This will allow for a more efficient triage and treatment processes. The tents ARE NOT FOR COVID TESTING. Keep sharing the facts with friends, family and patients. Social media is not the place to get the best advice. Once again, thank you for all you are doing! For up-to-date information, you can check out the Coronavirus link located on the intranet page on the top right, or go to www.cdc.gov. Stay tuned for further information and remember: WASH YOUR HANDS! William F.
