This topic has been coming up A LOT in my coaching calls with clients. Lately, I've been encouraging them to put more of themselves on Instagram; to share more of their lives as it relates to their business. And this is the response: "What's the difference between sharing my life and being braggy?" It's a great question, and my response is always this:... It's all about your intention. Are you sharing your life in an authentic way so you can connect with your ideal audience? Does this connection allow them to see the value in your products or services, which in turn, could better their lives? If so, this is a great intention. If your goal is to brag and show everyone how great your life is for the sake of likes, you're missing the point. Your intention aligns with helping potential clients and customers, you're on the right track. Marketing can often feel icky, and it takes a mindset shift to get out of your own way to promote your business in a feel-good way.
