Everyone’s favorite Little Chef is cooking up something really big for Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, because the grand opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT is set for Oct. 1 of this year! In this delicious new attraction, you'll be the size of Chef Remy as you scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant on a wild adventure (no height requirement!)... Not only will the ride be open, but a brand new facade that was taken right out of the movie will be added to the experience. You'll know why Remy loves "the city of lights" Of Course, it's not Disney unless you have delicious food to go with the experience. La Crêperie de Paris, a new restaurant offering both table- and quick-service options will be open the same day as the attraction. The menu will feature sweet crepes, savory buckwheat galettes (naturally gluten friendly) and authentic French hard cider. All three expansions are part of the historic transformation of EPCOT that's currently underway, celebrating how the impossible becomes possible through the power of imagination and a little Disney magic. COMING SOON TO EPCOT!! For almost 40 years, EPCOT has been the place where we come together to celebrate human achievement and nothing has embodied this spirit more than the park’s lineup of original nighttime spectaculars. Disney's brand new show Harmonious will be one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever produced. Imagineers are busy setting the stage of this innovative toolkit, preparing each of the show’s five floating platforms to take its place on World Showca...se Lagoon. Positioned like a compass, these platforms house the primary show equipment for Harmonious, and on the recently-placed center platform stands an iconic six-story-tall central ring structure, supporting a high-density water curtain, moving lights, fountains and more. This grand, original spectacular is a tribute to the power of story and song that unite us, leveraging music and visuals from across Disney and artists around the world. This is amazing!!! I knew at some point The Sociey of Explores and Adventures (SEA) would have a story to be told. Not to mention this is part of a larger Magic Kingdom Universe!! TIP FOR TODAY: If you didn’t know, The SEA has been in the park since the beginning. When you’re visiting Walt Disney World, Look out for little hidden Easter eggs of The Society of Adventures and Explores....... ....some are even outside of The Magic Kingdom (one has a place in Disney Springs)
