Everything must change. But it isn't always for the better.

Why are designers so keen to do cantilevers? Because they are so dramatic? Because they can? Because they are sooo expensive?

This is one of Saarinen's most evocative and playful works. I was there thirty years ago. So glad that it has been restored. Another great example of adaptive reuse.
