Hello! I hope everyone is safe and your loved ones are doing well. Please remember to wear your mask and wash your hands! Here is our Bridge Schedule. We are trying to stick to this for now. We do not want to keep changing this unless it is not working. The best feedback we get is if you support the games. If the games have small attendance then we know to make some changes. PLEASE ALWAYS REACH OUT TO ME IF YOU HAVE IDEAS, SUGGESTIONS OR COMPLAINTS. I want the feedback good or bad. Bridge Virtual Schedule

Virtual Bridge Club Schedule and beginner games Below you will find our permanent Virtual Bridge club schedule for the South Central PA online club on BBO (bridgebase.com) and information for games for our new beginners and players with less than 100 masterpoints (I realize many of our new players do not know what masterpoints are, well you will!!!!! You can always read more at our website bridgeboardroom.com For our brand new players who began lesson in January or players w...ith less than 100 masterpoints we really feel bad that we have not been able to continue group lessons and games. But we are going to online: Beginning Monday May11th we will have two special games just for you. They will be Monday evenings at 6:40 and Wednesday mornings at 10:05. To play in these games you will need to join the ACBL, if you are not already a member. The ACBL is wonderful organization that looks to promote/teach the game of bridge and sanction games and tournaments. Here is a link to the ACBL and how to join: Join ACBL. https://my.acbl.org/membership/join You can join for just one month (or 1 year or 3 years) to try these games out and make sure this is for you. When prompted please add club #239343 Bridge Boardroom and or my name Edward Scanlon Here are some great videos to watch and learn about the platform we are playing on called Bridge Base Online (BBO for short). Their website is bridgebase.com or you can download the Bridge Base Online APP for an ipad or tablet: Great Videos to watch to learn your way around BBO https://www.sagamorebridgeclub.com/help-everything-bbo These videos will help you learn your way around BBO and how to set up an account on BBO (which is free.) The games will cost money. $5 per game. I am also here to help you out. I can walk you though step-by-step. Just give me a call at 717-434-3298. Now please do not call me 5 minutes before a game begins. I truly feel bad that you have not been able to continue your bridge lessons. I promise you as soon as things are safe and I can open safely we will continue your lessons. If you want some links to great online lessons let me know as well. So you have over a week to think about playing in these games and a week to get registered and learn your way around BBO. What else are you doing with your time?

I truly hope you are all staying healthy and sane! Those of you who have been playing online in our Virtual Club, thank you so much for supporting us! These are tough times for all and your bridge clubs are included in that. Our schedule for next week is posted below. You can always go to bridgeboardroom.com to get the schedule as well. We are adding an Open game Thursday evenings at 6:40. (this will not begin until May 7th because of ACBL online Gold game that night) This will probably be our permanent schedule going forward. We may add some 0-20 or 0-50 games for our brand new players if we get interest from them. We may even be able to do some "teaching" between hands! Let us know if you are interested.
