We are going to finish out Read Across America week with some fun Dr. Seuss facts! - Dr. Seuss was a Lutheran! - Dr. Seuss wrote and illustrated 44 children's books in his lifetime. - Dr. Seuss wrote the Grinch on himself to "Rediscover something about Christmas that obviously I'd lost." - Dr. Seuss was not actually a doctor but added doctor to his name in college to add more credibility to his writing.... - He purchased a observation tower in California where he would write at least 8 hours a day. Read Across America week is just one of many special weeks that our preschoolers look forward to here at Bright Beginnings.
