My daughter now makes it for our family holiday dinners. We’ve added sugar, flour and egg, pressed and shaped the dough to make a pie that’ll surely remind you of home. And Grandma Sauder’s Buttermilk Cookies...this one also has some family significance. My mother-in-law blesses us regularly with her cookies! Her buttermilk cookies are the best! She lets us know when ‘Grandma’s Bake Shop’ has been busy and we eagerly pick up our goodies! Who wants their house to smell like freshly baked cookies (and not have the mess to clean up!)
