Brooks Custom Painting

Follow up the post I made last week about preparing the surface for paint. After multiple coats of a filler and lots of sanding to smooth out the plywood grain the In house portion was completed this afternoon.

Prep, prep and more prep. Preparing of the old surface is the majority of any painting job ( if your doing it right) preparing of the surface especially for cabinets ensures proper adhesion of primer coat and a flawless finished product. This one in particular had added on pieces so I filled in all the new wood grain the match to the smooth grain texture of the existing cabinets. All ready for primer and top coat

Completed kitchen update. Cabinets were refinished with the color white dove

My passion is taking wildlife photos in the little bit of time I have to myself but unfortunately I still can’t stop thinking about what needs painted! I came across this Northern Harrier this evening on my way home and can’t help but to think that the pipe needs painted.. I don’t know if it’s poop Or scratched off but it needs freshened up

Painted the ceiling, walls and trim in this sun room. Wall color is mindful gray.

Updated a couple vanity’s and tub surround from the orange oak to White Dove

We refinished these 30 year old dark cherry stained cabinets with a top of the line cabinet coating system. The color is Revere Pewter.
