Today’s irony. Built in 1902, over 110 years ago, the building we occupy for our offices and practice is truly an antique. We try to maintain it as original and authentic, which means lots of repairs to wood, the slate roof and painting. At the same time, what we do INSIDE the building is the most high-tech: neurofeedback, and brain mapping; not to mention our counseling. The old saying says don’t judge a book by its cover, and that goes for us, too.

A note about personal service. Twice this weekend I had to spend time fixing errors made by big vedors like the phone and cable companies. I call for help and they direct me to their website to fix it myself (and the website did not work for that). So I call again and struggle to get to speak to a person. One of the nice things about a place like Brownback, Mason, is you can speak to a real person, and that person will listen, and help you. It sure works for me.

Two inquiries for our technical manuals from Hong Kong. One was a hospital and the other some sort of science company. That was a challenge, because (my Chinese is a little rusty).
