3/23/20 UPDATE: ***We are still seeing patients*** With Governor Wolfe’s recent closure of Non-Life-Sustaining Businesses, chiropractic is still considered essential to decrease the burden of urgent care and emergency room visits for low back and neck pain. "Chiropractic Offices may continue physical operations, but elective procedures are prohibited to help prevent the spread of COVID-19....Emergent care, urgent care, acute care or active care which may adversely affect the... patient's health if postponed can be administered and should be done in accordance with current CDC guidelines." Elective procedures which are not considered emergent or acute are defined as wellness, prevention or asymptomatic care. At Brownstone Chiropractic, the health and well-being of our patients, employees, and community are our top priorities. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our patients and employees as the situation evolves. We are open, and here to help you and your family. We have enhanced our cleaning procedures and we have implemented a procedure to space out patient appointments to help with social distancing. We also ask that patients show up on time and not extremely early. We ask that when visiting the clinic, please wash your hands and limit the amount of time spent in the clinic and the surfaces you make contact with. Patients who are immunocompromised, elderly, diabetic, or have respiratory conditions are asked to practice caution and use their own discretion in making or keeping appointments. We appreciate the consideration of all patients who postpone/reschedule their appointments when exhibiting flu-like symptoms such as a cough, fever, or shortness of breath. Patients who have a fever, dry cough or shortness of breath, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 will NOT be permitted to receive care at this time. We hope this alleviates any concerns you may have when visiting our clinic. We are in this together. Yours in health, Dr. Pedersen
