Buck Town Bass Masters Fishing Club

2020 schedule is set. First trip,3/28/20, is cancelled. I will post the reschedule over the weekend hopefully.

The planning meeting is Sunday 3/10/19. I cannot be there but will post it when I get it. I don't remember the time but Ron sent out an email a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry this is late. The planning meeting for Bucktown is tomorrow night 7pm at the Wegmans Market lounge on route 29/Collegeville. New and Former members are welcome to join. Look for a small group of guys talking fishing.

Not sure how Dance and night club popped up here. But I was checking the page and there is an invitation for new members. I would like to extend an invitation for old members to come out again to fish. We would like to return to a more traditional tournament season but need a few more boats to do so. If you know anyone who used to fish with Bucktown ask them to contact Gene, Ron or myself.

Today wrapped up another year of funfest fishing. Ron and Bob and myself braved the wind and waves and caught some nice fish. Looking forward to next year. When I find out when the annual meeting is I will post.

Long time Member Terry Raisner passed away on 8/13/16. His Family wanted to the Funeral to be a private affair. I waited until now to post it here. Terry was on his way to a Bucktown event on Marsh Creek lake when his trailer jumped off the the ball. After gettng the trailer hooked up again Terry suffered a massive heart attack and died. The Clubs next fun fishing outing will be Sept. 10th on The North East River. We Start at 7am and end at 3pm. Email Gene if you intend to fish this event.

Again I would say if anyone is going fishing email your plans to the group. If someone is also going out on the same lake/river you can keep an eye out for each other. I didn't last year and bumped into Tom while he was trolling for Muskies. Had I known he was there I could have had him join me and the wife for lunch near the concession stand.

2016 meeting was held on Tuesday 2/23/16. No structured tournaments scheduled for this year for PA waters as we only get an average of 4 boats per event. A selection of waters, dates and times has been set. Gene sent out an email about the meeting. Members and former memebers not receiving this information should contact me or Gene. My contact info has not changed. In the event that we recieve enough new or returning members we will again fish a structured tournament schedule. Good luck to all in the upcoming year.

Another year of funfest fishing has just concluded with a visit to the North East River, MD. This past year included several trips there as well as PA Lakes. Marsh Creek, Nockamixon, Beltzville, Blue Marsh and a return visit to Landisville to fish the River. Still looking to increase our membership and return to actual Club Team Tournament format. If you are interested in participating let us know on this page.

The club did not fish tournaments again this year. I believe that with the few boats we have that this will happen again in 2015. Anyone having a day out on the water should send an email telling the guys on the list of where and when you plan to fish. If another angler is heading in your direction they will know to look for you.
