The Buhl Regional Health Foundation is pleased to announce that BRHF Scholarship money is available to students in health-related fields! The BRHF Scholarship Application Portal will open on February 1, 2021. (3) $1,000 One-year Scholarships are Available ... (4) $3,000 One-year Scholarships are Available Applicant must meet the following criteria: -Reside in the Buhl Regional Health Foundation’s service area -Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a health-related field -Have a GPA of 3.5 or above -Be enrolled as a full-time college student for the 2021-2022 academic year at an accredited college or university Applicants must complete all application questions as well as provide all required information and uploads to be considered for the scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. All applications must be accepted by 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2021. No late applications will be accepted. We had the pleasure of visiting Trail’s End Conservancy to discuss the progress of their Fly High with Horses veterans program. Fly High with Horses is an equine program for veterans dealing with the effects of combat trauma. Working with horses is an experiential therapy for victims of trauma, including PTSD and its associated chronic physical pain, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. BRHF presented them with COVID-19 emergency funding to accommodate an increased need for veteran support. Thank you for all of the hard work Trail's End Conservancy does to help veterans in our community!

Buhl Regional Health Foundation worked quickly to establish a way to help our local community with basic hardships resulting from the current COVID-19 pandemic. We have developed a COVID-19 Emergency Funding Process for our local non-profit agencies l. We have given out more than $80,000 to local non-profit organizations to help meet the needs of our community.
BRHF is pleased to announce that we have recently awarded $21,000 in scholarships to 9 students pursuing careers in health related fields. BRHF believes that by supporting students in the health care profession, it will enable them to grow and develop skills that will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our community.
