In case you missed it, Mark Zuckerberg announced that social media giant, #Facebook, has been rebranded to #Meta. This shift reflects Zuckerberg's goal to move "from being Facebook first as a company to being metaverse first" in order to create a virtual and augmented reality that reaches far beyond the scope of traditional social media. What are your thoughts on this rebrand? Will you be signing up for virtual concerts and augmented reality meetings in the near futur...e? (Quote from @alexeheath)

Taft & Roosevelt. Buddies forever. Today is our annual Roosevelt Birthday Halloween party. Antics to follow.

Bull Moose Marketing 01.10.2021

We’re letting you know that Bull Moose Marketing will be closed at noon on October 27. Why? Simply put: to celebrate the birthday of Theodore Roosevelt, who was born on this day in 1856. And why would a marketing agency celebrate the birthday of the 26th President of the United States? Well, you’d have to know the origin of our agency’s name - Bull Moose Marketing. That story actually begins in 1912 during Roosevelt’s return bid for the presidency. Shot at point-blank rang...e while campaigning, Roosevelt ignored this mere flesh wound as he delivered a 90-minute speech before accepting medical help! Asked the next day, Roosevelt exclaimed, I’m fit as a bull moose! The bull moose immediately became the party symbol for the prolific Roosevelt who believed that everyone in the country deserved a square deal. Being huge history nerds, we saw how this story of Roosevelt and his many accomplishments exemplified the company we wanted to build. Hence, Bull Moose Marketing, an agency full of smart, hard-chargers who believe every business deserves a square deal when it comes to marketing. (Coincidentally, our offices turned out to be the Bull Moose party headquarters for this area in 1912!) So, in remembrance of the original Bull Moose himself, we’ll be away from our desks for a few hours starting at noon. And yes, there will be a party complete with singing and a birthday cake. Everyone at Bull Moose Marketing will be back in the office at 9 AM on Thursday, October 28th. Happy Birthday, Teddy. Bully! #theodoreroosevelt #happybirthdayteddyroosevelt #teddyroosevelt

Big news for the tourism industry! After almost two years, the U.S. is finally opening its borders to fully vaccinated international travelers on Nov. 8. While not all travelers will flock to the border that day, DMOs and tourism organizations need to start preparing to receive and attract more visitors. Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease, meaning domestic and international travelers will be eager to visit destinations once again.
