Burke Playground

Captain Milillo was a great guy and always helped us at Burke when he was our captain. He was always there for our community. We will miss him. Please pray for his family during this difficult time.

As of right now all open spaces in the City of Phila such as parks, playgrounds, and trails are open. Just wanted to put this out because we have been getting questions. All organized leagues and events at Burke are canceled until further notice.

Santa is here at Burke!!!

Burke will be closed until tomorrow nights Santa visit. We need to prepare the park for tomorrow nights activities.

The port-a- potty that was at the park and causing issues has been removed. We have been trying to get the company to come and get it but had no luck so the City has come out and removed it.

For Your Information: We had a meeting this morning with the Principal of Sharswood regarding the gates on Wolf Street being locked last night. This was an ove...rsight and they should not have been locked. In the future parking will be allowed but all cars must be moved out of the yard by 7:00AM. If not moved cars will be ticketed and towed. See more
