Bushkill Park Roller Rink

Quick update on the rink restoration progress: The sound system is finally fixed and working beautifully. One minor problem with the projector that we still have to figure out. The disco ball is working flawlessly and the new lights are eager to show off. Once the maple floor dries out completely we will have a better idea of when we will be repairing the floor. Hoping for a December opening!

Craft fair/fun day today for the whole family (Sun 8/30) at the park from 12-5! - Vendors, a reptile show, pony rides, and pirate ship for the kids! - hot dog...s and ice cream at our ice cream stand - I will have a table set up with Bushkill Park shirts and postcards (shirt money goes to the park directly; postcard money to my repair/restoration fund) - Most action will happen in the parking lot, but the park will be open for limited walk through into kiddie land. - WE HAVE A FEW RIDES OPEN TODAY! The lights work again! Rink is still a few weeks away but work will start on Monday!

Teamwork makes the dream work! A ridiculous amount of debris has been removed from the bumper car building. Check out our progress and why we persist on PBS39 at 6:30 and 11:00 tonight! (I’ll link it here later for any out of town people who may be interested).

Postcards are available today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) from 5-8 pm at our ice cream stand. Come check out our progress!

THEY’RE HERE!!!!! Get single postcards for a $2 donation per card, or all 6 for $10. Each postcard is 5x7 and printed on premium stock to allow for collection... as well as for framing and display. All proceeds go directly to restoration and repair projects at Bushkill Park. I will show how money was spent on this page in future posts. Options for purchase: 1) stop by our ice cream stand on Saturdays and Sundays from 5-8 through the end of September. 2) message me here or email [email protected] to arrange for a pickup time at the park (or for shipping if you are out of town - please add $2 for shipping/postage). Payment can be made via cash, check, or PayPal. 3) If you have a small business in the Easton area and would like to support us by selling postcards, please contact me using info from #2. I will update postcard availability in a future post, listing businesses helping out and their locations. Ice cream is back!!!!!!

Our ice cream stand is open! Come down for a cone or a sundae and support the park. Sat-Sun 5-8 pm... Please be mindful of the new parking lot arrangement - enter where it is usually exit only and park within the space designated by our silver fences. You’re welcome to peek in on our cleanup from within that section of the parking lot.

To all of our friends and family: Bushkill Park suffered extensive damage to the rides and buildings. At this point in time we are in recovery mode and security.../preservation of assets. Please do NOT attempt to trespass or come onsite for ANY reason. Our security team will arrest ALL PERSONS ATTEMPTING ENTRY. We will need a ton of help once we secure and inspect the facility. At this point it is too early to make a decision as far as future plans for the park. The good news is the work done to mitigate flooding up until now was successful and held.
