Reminder from our township, there is no burning. Every year we respond to numerous emergencies from residents burning, endangering not only themselves but their neighbors. Stay safe everyone.

The weather has been nice (for us at least), that means it’s the perfect time to run out to your local hardware or convenience store and buy some batteries. Tonight clocks move forward an hour, change your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries. It could save your life. Stay safe everyone!

Hello everyone! We would like to everyone to know that The Christopher Kuna Giving Tree of 2020 was a resounding success! We received over 550 donations, including individual toys, gift cards and cash. An incredible number which allowed us to help more families and children in Bushkill in addition to what we cover in Middle Smithfield Township, than we have in the past. We would like to thank everyone who donated. These are extremely trying times and it speaks volumes of th...e community willing to still give of themselves. Knowing that though their situation maybe tough, there are perhaps others who have it worse and still choose to give during this holiday season. The following businesses contributed as well. Just as they support the community we hope you take the time out and support them and their causes as well. Saw Creek Estates Saw Creek Men’s Club Miggys Deli Cousins Deli Pocono Mountain Lake Estates Pocono Ranchlands Country Squire Deli Knot Just Kuts Turkey Hill Mady’s Angels Macy’s We would also like to thank the townships we serve. Lehman Township PA for their never ending support of the The Bushkill Fire Company and our mission. As well as Middle Smithfield Township for their support and contributions as well. Lastly, but as always not least. We would like to thank The Kuna Family for allowing us to continue this in Chris’ honor and memory, we could only hope he’d be proud at how far along this has come! We hope everyone has a safe and healthy Holiday!
