What a wonderful time of the year! Beautiful lights and decorations, amazing cookies and goodies, lots of presents and fun, big ham or turkey dinners with all the favorites. Stress and headaches, long lines and longer lists, not enough hours in the day, everything needs to be perfect and let's not forget the family that tend to drive us crazy.... At the end of the day, the Byrnes' feel so blessed! Each day of the Christmas season we tried to stop and take a moment to center ourselves about the real reason for the beauty and stresses, the birthday of Jesus. What a glorious day to celebrate! HAPPY THANKSGIVING We hope that everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends. And taking some time to reflect on everything we have to be thankful for. It's easy to get wrapped up in the holiday spirit as we are busy planning meals, strategizing on how to visit everyone in one day, and of course getting ready for the big sales of Black Friday shopping! Don't forget to take some extra time with family before all the craziness starts as we gear up for the Christmas season. Put down the phones, tablets, computers and pop some popcorn, pull out some board games and those classic family movies. Time goes fast, so slow down at least once a week to enjoy what you've been blessed with.

OPENING NIGHT TONIGHT!! Lights on the Lake and THE MODEL TRAIN DISPLAY! The Alto Model Train Museum Association welcomes the public from November 17, 2017 until January 1, 2018 at... Lakemont's Holiday Lights on the Lake. Our model train displays are located next to the Gift Shop in Santa's Village. We are open from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. each evening.
