Equipment is down. Acoustic panels should arrive next month, I think. All that's really left is getting the drum kit, and I'll be talking to the vendor today or tomorrow.
The new room has chairs and rugs! Starting to look more inviting now. Once I get the last few items in (thresholds, wine shelf, furman power sequencer) I'll mount the wash light, and start the process of moving my studio desk and the rest of my equipment down there. Also need to get some wall mounts for my guitars, but I'm not going to hang them until my GIK panels arrive, and they won't be ready until around Nov. 30th.
As of today, the new basement rehearsal room is basically finished! Certificate of occupancy is acquired, and final inspections passed.
Nearing completion of the room. The floors are in, and doors are hung. They start building out the bar cabinetry on Monday, and also start installing the ceiling later in the week. The room should be verrrry close to done by Friday, with a few extra days after to fix up and finish off any small little details. Then I get to furnish it! Furnishings will include GIK acoustic panels, various equipment, and a decent drum kit. (hoping the vendor our drummer knows still has that PDP CX series kit in onyx blue). Oh, and can't forget the bar stools and the rugs!
Basement room is coming along. Preliminary inspections all passed, and they're into the finishing phase at this point. Shouldn't take more than about another week and a half after this week to get everything done and ready for final inspection.
