Cacoosing Gun Club 09.01.2021

Dear Members, I just spoke to Greg Hartman and am I sorry to hear that he is still pretty sick. Therefore as VP I am initiating the following rules if we are to continue to shoot at the club.... We are working on having a full counter protection plexiglass panel installed at the club on Friday. We have a protection panel now for the counter side window. So, until further notice the following rules will apply. 1. NO ONE except one person working the desk will be allowed into the club except to use the bathrooms in which case entry and exit should be through the rear door only. 2. ALL shooting transactions will be made outside the club and through the side window only. 3. All persons at the club must wear a mask and social distance 6 feet while in the parking lot or general meeting areas. Masks may be removed if you choose when actually shooting on the course or at the shooting stations. Please adhere to these rules and please police yourselves in our collective effort to show care and attention if not to ourselves then our fellow shooters. We understand your want to shoot and will also understand your decision not to shoot. If you are experiencing any symptoms then please DO NOT come to the club to shoot. On behalf of us all, Greg, we wish you and Nancy a speedy recovery. Sincerely, Jeremy Martin. VP.

The Lew Hatzas Memorial on Sunday was well attended. Lew would have been quite pleased to see everyone shooting skeet, his favorite game.. Following the initial 50 targets, the shooters were broken into three classes by score and then each class shot-off against everyone in that class, double only at stations 3, 4 and 5. Once again, the top shooter in the main event went down very quickly in the shoot-off and Class A was won by JoeGravelle, 2nd was Jim Wagner and 3rd was V...ince Cebular. Class B was won by Jon Novak, 2nd place was taken by Tyler Cebular (with a .410!). Third was Mike Howe. The Class C shoot-off was quite a battle. Eventually, Joe Rydzy took 1st, Mike Boley 2nd and Bob Fucci third. Everyone received nice prizes. Congrats!! Please put the Rum Dum 50 bird regular skeet event on your calendar - it starts at 9: AM on New Years' Day, rain, snow or shine. The Fantanarosa Insurance Agency (Nick Fantanarosa) is the generous sponsor, so there will be nice cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
