CALL ALERT 10/27/20 Aaron Rabold GK7700 SCI Waymart The medical staff is over-medicating Aaron at a dangerous level. See letter below for more details.... Aaron's mother sent an email to Superintendent George Miller, then took the email to the Wayne County District Attorney Office. Wayne County District Attorney Office & met with Detective Peter Hower on Friday, October 23, 2020. Detective Hower said he would look into it, & it would take a couple weeks because they are backed up. Less than 2 hours after the meeting Detective Hower sent an email saying he will not take any action on the complaint. Howell & Detective Pete Hower to investigate & bring criminal charges against Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Ligas for torture, poisoning, & attempted murder against Aaron Rabold & other prisoners she is treating at SCI Waymart Secretary John Wetzel - 717-728-2573. Demand: Tell him to make SCI Waymart Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Ligas stop torturing Aaron Rabold by over-medication of dangerous drugs. You have never responded. My son, Aaron Rabold has Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is in very poor physical condition. Aaron is being forcibly medicated by Jennifer Ligas, nurse practitioner, license #SP012020. She has Aaron on 40 mg of Zyprexa a day. The maximum safe daily dosage of Zyprexa is 10mg a day. Aaron is being forced to take 4 times the maximum safe daily dose. Zyprexa is contraindicated for anyone who has diabetes or who has a family medical history of diabetes. Our family has a multigenerational family history of diabetes. This information has been given to the medical department. Ligas has Aaron on 20mg of Haldol a day. The maximum safe daily dosage of Haldol is 1-4mg a day for moderate cases, and 6-10mg for severe cases. Aaron is being forced to take twice the maximum safe daily dose. Ligas also has Aaron on at least two other drugs. Aaron has suffered serious allergic reaction to the drugs. He continues to suffer life-threatening side effects including uncontrollable vomiting, reflux, uncontrollable shaking, a tickling feeling in his hands and legs, muscle spasms, and other side effects. Forced drugging is a violation of DOC policy. It is a violation of international human rights laws and the Nuremburg Code. It is torture by definition. It is attempted homicide by poison. Aaron has told the Treatment Team about the side effects and has asked for the drugs to be lowered and for him to be safely weaned off the drugs. They refuse to acknowledge his complaints and suffering. Although Amber Muchal, Aaron's social worker says Aaron can refuse the drugs, if Aaron refuses them he will likely suffer life-threatening withdrawal symptoms, and he will be punished by being put into the FTC where he will be so drugged that he will be unable to get off the floor. Why is Aaron being overmedicated? Is it to torture him, or is it to use him for experimental purposes, or is this an attempt to murder him? It is your responsibility to protect the health, life, and welfare of every prisoner at SCI Waymart. This situation has been brought to your attention and to the attention of Deputy Bassett, and Aaron's social worker Amber Muchal. It is your responsibility to see that nobody on your staff or any employee at SCI Waymart commits a crime against any prisoner or any other person. Please fulfill your responsibility. EMAIL FROM DISTRICT ATTORNEY OFFICE I have reviewed the email dated October 22, 2020 that you sent to the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office. In the email, you allege gross mistreatment of your son Aaron Rabold by the staff at SCI Waymart. My first suggestion would be to file a complaint with the Pennsylvania State Police, as they are the law enforcement agency in Wayne County that generally investigates crimes that occur at SCI Waymart. However, since you told me that you already tried to file a complaint with them and was unsuccessful, my next suggestion would be to contact the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General since they are a state agency like SCI Waymart. They are fully capable of handling your complaint. With that being said, no further action will be taken by this office.

Russell Maroon Shoatz and Russell Shoatz III teamed up for a dialogue as part of Kaepernick's essay series on abolition. We all owe so much to the entire Shoatz family for their contributions and sacrifices. We need to intensify efforts to bring Maroon home.
