French Forties coffee table in sculpted mahogany by the renowned Andre Arbus (1903-1969) who was a third generation cabinetmaker and designer. He began exhibiting his work at the Paris annual salons when he was just 22. His illustrious career included works for the U.S. Embassy in Paris and the Chateau de Rambouillet after World War II.
