The United Way reports they plan to use the results to focus their investments into local nonprofits offering programming, such as utility and rental assistance, childcare needs, after-school activities, and so much more. From Mrs. Stevens, CSES Principal regarding our building closing: While we certainly wish we were operating as normal today, we have observed this day of virtu...al learning with pride and optimism. Our teachers are all in the building working hard to ensure continued delivery of instruction. They are working to make Google Classrooms easy to navigate and meaningful. As the principal, I have checked in with each grade level and I remain inspired by the videos that have been created and the seamless delivery of our curriculum. We have worked hard as a district over the summer months and during our current school year to improve our virtual instruction so that we would be ready, and we are. I have also been impressed with the support we have received from our families. Our community appears to understand that the district is doing everything possible to continue to offer in-person instruction, while also respecting the Department of Health guidelines and PA Department of Education recommendations. Thank you to our families. We appreciate that you are doing what you can to troubleshoot virtual learning, to reach out to teachers for guidance, and to be partners in ensuring quality education for our PENNCREST students. We will continue to work together to set an example of how communities can come together during times of need. If your children require additional time to enter/exit and or as a driver you need to exit the car please plan to exit the line and park so as not to hold up others.
