During these times of quarantine on an unprecedented global scale, I have been constantly talking to Santi and checking in with him to make sure his family, Campo Justo’s farmers, are safe and healthy. We are happy to report all of them are well. Sadly, the urban zones of the world have seen drastic change; the streets are empty, people aren’t present on them anymore and they are staying mostly indoors confined to small spaces. Meanwhile, in rural zones people are more secur...e and free to move about the grand tracks of land on their farms. They are free to harvest fruits/vegetables for their own food source, and most importantly to continue providing food to those who are on lockdown in the urban zones. We are busy even now, today, collecting the coffee of this harvest for all of you out there no matter where you are.
