Gun violence in black communities and social injustice are two separate, but EQUALLY concerning issues... Don’t allow the narrative to be changed and pushed awa...y from a systematic racism issue, because one (social injustice, inequality) has played an extremely intricate role in the other (gun violence).... Right or wrong, the ppl in our communities that are engaged in gun violence only see that and everything around it as an option...conflict resolution is lacking, hope is lacking, positive leadership is lacking, unconditional love for the next human being is lacking.... Still, it starts with poverty, lack of quality education, lack of quality opportunities that have been plaguing black people for 400 years... We have a BOTH issue... I don’t have the answers but I KNOW the answer is not Black Lives don’t Matter until they matter to black people, yet I recognize that we have to attempt to start doing better... No civilization is conquered from the outside until it destroys itself from within
