Wrestling seniors Noah Clawson and Colton Zimmerman were selected by the coaches in their division as the preseason wrestlers of the year and Carlisle was picked #1 as a team. Carlisle has never won a Mid Penn Title in wrestling. Coach Joseph C. Wilson returns 10 varsity starters, all of which placed last season at the District 3 section 3 tournament.

Senior Sean Smith is taking his talents to Berk’s County to wrestle for the Kutztown Golden Bears!! Fresh off his 1,000 yard rushing season in football he made ...the difficult decision between the two sports he loves. Sean is a returning Carlisle Classic Champion, Sectional Champion and Regional 6th place for the Herd. He sits at 82 Career wins entering his final season for the Herd!! Congratulations Sean Smith!!!
