Happy Opening Day Everyone April 1, 2021 It’s still raining but they say it will stop by Gametime, Let’s hope so!... Game 1 / 162 gets started today at 3:05pm and if you are one of the lucky fans to be there, have a beer and a bag of nuts. One of favorites at the ballpark. The Phillies spent a bunch of money and the players are all saying the right things now, no more SIGN JT. Now it’s time to get off to a fast start. It’s Nola vs Fried, It’s Harper and the Phanatic, It’s JT doing JT things, It’s time to Ring The Bell in 2021 Congrats to the Phandemic Krew who will be in the house section 245 celebrating the 2021 season. Nice job Brett Oscar / Oscar Alvarado - Go Phillies !! The Flyers are having a roller coaster of a season but it appears the team has come off the tracks and heading in the wrong direction. Ghost gets benched/waved, Hart gets benched, Lindblom/Patrick gets benched, Joel Farabee has seen the press box and It appears to me that the young players are being held more accountable then some of the veterans who have not produced. I think the GM needs to take a hard look at his headcoach and assistants. Maybe bring back the headcoach of the Phantoms, Scott Gordon who has coached all of these young guns and get them back on track. Just a suggestion, can’t hurt !!! Good Morning Tuesday January 12, 2021 Headline News-... The Philadelphia Eagles have parted ways with Super Bowl winning head coach Doug Pederson. Right or wrong the team appears to be trying to repair the Carson Wentz situation and bring him back now that they got rid of the coach and the fractured relationship or is this a big smoke screen. Does this team have a vision moving forward or are they just in a wait and see who comes knocking as a trade partner for Carson? The coach appears fine with this decision as he apparently had no power in the organization. It all appeared to start well over a year ago when he had to fire a couple of coaches that he wanted back. I think most die hard Eagles fans are not happy with this decision, but as we wake up today it is not our choice who will become the next head coach but it is our choice to BLEED EAGLES GREEN. Congrats to the Alabama Crimson Tide as they rolled over the Ohio State Buckeyes last night in the championship game 52-24. That Devonta Smith kid is pretty good, just saying ..... The 76ers appear in a very bad spot as half the roster has tested postive for Covid-19. Coach Doc Rivers is doing the best he can to play with half of a team until everyone returns. After a loss last night to the Hawks they are right back on the court tonight vs the Heat. nothing better than Philly Sports and what we the fans may think, always good conversation. Good Morning Monday January 11, 2021 Wildcard Playoff Football did not disappoint this weekend. ... Biggest winners appear to be the Bills, Browns and Nickelodeon The Bills win a playoff game for the first time in 25 years, the Browns with a huge win over the Steelers, Steeler nation is not happy this morning. And how about Saints head coach Sean Payton agreeing to be slimed live on the Nickelodeon Network if his team won. Good stuff !! Who Dat !! And tonight the biggest game of the year, College Football Championship. Heavily favored Alabama takes on Ohio State at 8pm on ESPN. Who ya got Sean Waynant ??? I had to switch back n forth as the Flyers had an exhibition game at 7pm, Orange vs White and the White team prevailed 4-3 even though the Orange team jumped out early 2-0. My take away from the game was seeing Oskar Lindblom and Nolan Patrick back on the ice and look ready for the upcoming 56 game schedule. Overall, the team looks ready to pick up after being bumped early in last year’s playoffs. Monday ctober 26, 2020 Grab that morning coffee and make it an awesome day. The Covid World Series can be over tomorrow night as the Dodgers have a 3-2 lead after last night’s 4-2 win. ... Can the Rays find another way to win and force a game 7? I hope so. Free agency opens up after the World Series and the Phillies have two pretty big names about to hit the market. JT and DiDi appear to be ready to go to the highest bidders. If that’s the case who do we have or who do we get to try and replace them ? Are the Phillies in a tailspin and heading in the wrong direction after 5 years of bad management from Matt Klentak. How does the very faithful Phillies fan base handle this and what does Bryce Harper think ?? Can the Birds get healthier with 10 days off til they meet up with the Cowboys next Sunday night ?? Would the Birds consider trading third string QB Nate Sudfeld to the Boys who are in dire need of one after losing Dak and Andy Daulton ?? Philly Sports has many questions ???? I was hoping for better results. Damn 2020..... Two 5-0 teams just might be the premier matchup today. Steelers ve Titans at 1 pm. The World Series is turning out to be a good one. Friday October 24, 2020 Grab that morning coffee and let’s get ready for a beautiful fall weekend ..... everyone is calling it an ugly win, no such thing in my world. ... Down 8 starters on offense and you are constantly shuffling players in and out looking for the right combination or just a hot hand. Not a Carson Wentz fan, numbers don’t lie but it’s ok. Players just need to continue to make plays and grab these moments to be on an NFL football field. Not a Doug Pederson fan either, that’s ok, just stop and look at what he’s done with players we’ve never even heard of. 2-4-1 and in first place in the NFC East makes me smile this morning. 9 days off til we go toe to toe with the hated Cowboys on Sunday night football.
