The Fiber Optic Technician (FOT) is a full-time hourly position that will primarily focus on the fiber divisional needs of the company. This will include but is not limited to onsite fiber installations with direct customer contact, roadside bucket truck work accessing vendor owned fiber enclosures, and completing necessary troubleshooting to alleviate network problems or degradation. Extensive documentation and communication practices is expected. The Fiber Optic Technician will also be responsible for racking and stacking of equipment, both copper and fiber in-house wiring jobs, and other duties as assigned.

***MESSAGE FROM YOUR CTi TEAM REGARDING COVID-19*** We would like to take the opportunity to reassure all of our customers that their IT service needs will stil...l be attended to during this trying time. While our storefronts are closed to general public foot traffic per the guidelines set forth via Governor Wolf, our operations are still very much active. We have taken many precautions including dispersing our personnel between offices limiting the number of people in the same space, disinfecting all offices and company vehicles, and being proactive when scheduling onsite visits. All of our day-to-day operations are fully active with the exception of our retail storefronts. Should you need our assistance, we will be taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all of our customers and staff. Should you need a site visit, we will contact you before scheduling to ensure access to your facility is permitted. Also, our technicians will be wearing latex gloves while onsite in hopes to mitigate exposure to the virus.
