CARMEL HARVEST FESTIVAL UPDATE: Hello friends! Due to inclement weather forecast for tomorrow’s Harvest Festival Sunday, November 1, we have made the decision to go mobile and are offering Comfort To Go. We will be hosting a drive thru event outside the kitchen doors. Lunch (chili) and fall inspired goodies to pick up will distributed between 12-1 pm. In addition we are holding a Guess the number of caramels in the jar contest ... prizes awarded for place. Make your guess and drive on by tomorrow. Happy Fall

From ‘Get Out the Vote’ of EMIC/POWER, local Interfaith Group, with Carmel participants: Make a voting plan for the November 3 election: If you have received a mail-in ballot, fill it out following the directions carefully and take it to a drop box, such as Elkins Park, Upper Dublin, or Willow Grove. Check the hours. It’s not recommended to use USPS this late. ... If you are planning to vote in person, the polls are open next Tuesday, November 3, from 7 AM to 8 PM. A Carmel volunteer can help with drop box or polling place transportation. Contact the church office or Janet Simon for information.

TOMORROW, Oct. 23 AT 6:30 PM EDT Edge Hill Fire Company Public Hosted by Commissioner Mike Thompson, Abington Ward 6... Join us in the parking lot of the Edge Hill Fire Company for a screening of the movie "Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. is the Answer" and a community discussion to follow.
