We welcome a fresh new start in 2021, as "hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come." In reality, we have lived hopefully through 2020, painting and redecorating the ballroom through the months of April and May when we were closed. We welcomed folks back to gr...oup and private lessons in June, and then eventually to Friday dance practices. While we will not be holding our Sparkling New Year's Eve dance party this year, we smile with anticipation of the "happier" day when we will see all of our Carousel Community back at the ballroom again. In the meantime, put on some music, and dance in the new year safely at home this NYE! Welcome the new year full of possibilities! Until we see you soon again, Suzy and Carlos

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! At the end of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, Scrooge says, I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach. As we reflect on this past year, 2020 has challenged us to grow and do things in new ways. We’ve worked through each new challenge, even using technology i...n new ways to teach. We are grateful for the core group that has continued to come for group and private lessons and for dance practice throughout the year. For those of you who could not attend, we hope that you have stayed home and stayed healthy. As we look to 2021, we are planning many exciting things for the ballroom as we strive to offer you the best teaching in ballroom and Latin dance in our area. As things improve this year, we look forward to the day when we will be able to dance together again hopefully very soon. Wishing you and your family a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
