Here are some pics of my latest razor. This razor is 8/8 wide full hollow groud in a very classic shape somewhat inspired by one of my favorites, filarmonica. The scales are african black wood with a polished wedge. I took some pics using different props just to see what they might look like. Hope you like!

A few pics of hand sanding. This is the most laborious part of the process but with time it really pays off. I begin with 220 grit sandpaper and work my way up to 2500 grit making sure all scratchs from the previous grit are removed before moving to the next grit. After this I will etch my logo and name and design scales. For this razor I am deciding between honey horn with a polished silver wedge or ebony scales with a polished brass wedge for scales. At this time this razor is 15/16+ in size and full hollow ground with a blunted square point.

Here are a couple pictures of razors that I am currently working on. One before final grinding and one after final grinding is done. After the final hollows are ground, the lines are smoothed out by hours of hand sanding. All of my grinding is done by hand with no jigs or rests. Lots of patience and a lot of back and forth from the hone to the grinder ensuring that the edge and spine are perfectly parallel for that perfect final edge.

Here are some more pictures of my most recent custom razor. This razor is 15/16 wide and full hollow ground. The steel is twisted damascus made from 1095 & 15N20 steel that is sourced from a US supplier to ensure quality. The scales are purple paua ALVS. I performed a coffee etch to really make the layers pop. This razor is big in the hand but is nice and light due to the full hollow grind. I finished the edge on my JNAT giving this razor a really keen edge that shaves with ease. This razor is listed on my etsy page.
