Last year we raised $700 for Christmas presents for Dominican children. It was such a blessing to so many children. Many kids told us that was the only presents... they were getting that year. Most of them never opened a present with wrapping paper....and I enjoyed wrapping everyone! This year we want to do it all over again! More than ever these kids need hope and joy! Tomorrow night we WILL be having church in the evening, originally was to be in Ligonier but due to sickness we will be hosting the missionaries to Russia at Central City tomorrow night. Come out and hear a good word and also about the work they are doing in Russia.

Mission Prayer Request.... Bro Vitelio Rosario Colon, Our Dominican Republic National Representative was hospitalized Frday August 7, with pneumonia and other complicatons...checking for Covid. He needs a miracle from God.

Update: Jeff says we sweat all day 24/7.... On the serious note, I wanted to let every one know we are safe from the hurricane. It did not touch us too mu...ch, just some much needed rain. Praise the Lord! In the meantime we are back in quarantine. We have to be home by 7pm on week nights and 5pm on weekends. This is not going away and so many families continue to be effected by all this. Jeff took food to a pastor today and she will no longer receive the tiny bit of help she had received from the government. She thanked God when Jeff arrived with food because she had just lost her food card last week. God knew even though we did not. Please do not stop giving! We have been blown away by your generosity, but at the same time it feels like a drop in the bucket. So many here have lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. Food prices continue to rise as peoples income continues to decrease. God has continued to provided opportunities to minister safely with our neighbors. As Romans 8:28 states God is turning what is meant for evil for His glory. God is building new friendships that I am not sure would of come about if it was not for this time. Tonight our youth had a fun night outdoors...we are so blessed to have our youth gaining new kids and growing! So thankful!

Thank you for those who donated money and we were able to purchase a riding mower for the church. We have been doing some small projects around as well.

So proud to say Allen won runner up best camper! We are proud of all the kids getting into services, participating in everything and having a great time.
