Allan is on the New Testament Fellowship Board and they both are on the KLN team. Rose runs an online Bible Institute with students from many parts of the world. They desire to see men and women who are sold out to Jesus, sharing the Gospel and using the gifts that God has given them to expand the Kingdom.

Predictions of 10 to 12 inches of snow beginning at 9 a.m. on Sunday have resulted in cancelling service at church. Plan to watch Dr. David Jeremiah on Channel 49 at 8 a.m.. We often do that even before we come to church. Then by all means plan to be here on Sunday, February 7, 2021

Welcome to Cedar Hill Church on January 17, 2021. Pastor Wayne Lawton will be speaking from two Psalms - he believes they speak, 'for such a time as this' in our nation's history, Psalm 11 and Psalm 12. Service will begin at 10 a.m. We enter wearing masks, wash hands and sit separately (since we have upholstered chairs we can distance conveniently.) We greet one another with a 'holy blink'. Christmas is over but poinsettia's are not. We hope you have one.

After a short shut down we plan to meet together on Sunday, January 10th, 2021 at 10 a.m. Wear your mask to enter - handwash is provided - seating is spacious. Hope to see you here in the Prayer Hub ! Pastor Wayne Lawton is playing "Emmanuel, Emmanuel, His name is called Emmanuel. God with us, revealed in us; His name is called Emmanuel" This is a great thought for 2021 'God with us, revealed in us'. May it be so in all of our lives.

This event is over but our church was represented there today. Pastor Lawton along with other citizens gathered around our law enforcement officers who were present and prayed for them and also prayed for members of the local Fire Departments who were present as well. Let us show respect to them , "For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience"Bible passage from Romans 13:4-5. The Elizabethtown Cheif of Police was the Master of Ceremonies there today and he is a Christian man, bold to speak of his faith in Jesus Christ. We give God praise.

Janet Nnakku Nsibambi's spirit took flight to heaven this morning at 3 a.m.(September 29, 2020). Her body will soon take flight to Uganda for burial in her homeland. She was with us here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in September of 2006. Here she is pictured with Wayne & Mary Lou Lawton and Don & Anna Ruth Jacobs at the Cedar Hill Church, Elizabethtown. The Lawton's visited in her home in Ithaca, New York in 2018 when the picture of her was taken. She is the daughter of... the late Simeon Nsibambi who with Dr. Joe Church prayed for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on East Africa, and God answered with thousands being saved and filled with the Holy. Spirit. The revival is continuing because the mercy of the Lord is so great and many people in this area of the world have admitted their sinfulness and found that Jesus came - not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Tukutendereza Yesu !!! Glory to the Lamb of God !!! (Thanks to her niece, Eseza Nsibambi Ssali for letting us know) See more

Yesu Namara means JESUS SATISFIES. Pastor Wayne will speak on this subject on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. He will display this beautiful sisal plate with these words in the Rukiga language (spoken in Kabale, Uganda.). At an early convention of the East Africa Revival Fellowship these words were the THEME of that meeting. Ten years later they chose the same words with a question mark YESU NAMARA ? - asking 'does Jesus still satisfy ? It is one thing to begin with JESUS but so important to continue with JESUS and those who understand His mercy and grace do continue. So this will be discussed by Pastor Wayne in the Sunday message.

There is a situation I am facing in my life today in which I need to decrease - but I'm finding myself unwilling to do so. But as I am confessing my unwillingness to the Lord as the sin that it really is, I know that He is cleansing me and making it possible for me to 'choose to decrease' so that my Lord may increase. Praise Him ( If I were to share details you would know the reasons I have felt unwilling - but I really don't need sympathy - especially now that I am praising God for cleansing me ). There's a chorus I often sing at times like this, "Glory, glory, halleluyah, Glory, glory to the Lamb, for the cleansing blood has reached me, Glory, glory to the Lamb" I'm glad this memory came up on my Facebook feed - because it's so true.

A Pastoral Word Because of the pandemic It will take faith to come back to church. In Matthew 14:28 It took faith for Peter to say to Jesus , "Lord, if it's You, bid me come to You on the water" and he heard Jesus reply, "Come". If the President says it's time to come, is it time to come? If the leader of your congregation says it's time to come back, Is it time ? My advice is to ask the Man who claimed a wisdom greater than Solomon and when He says "Come" take that step of f...aith - you won't sink !!! Wayne DeFrance Lawton, pastor at Cedar Hill Community Church, Elizabethtown BTW For those who have heard the voice of the Lord - we are meeting at 10 a.m. each Sunday

Cedar Hill Community Church 01.08.2020
