We are expecting freezing rain today so exercise caution in coming out to church. We are not going to cancel but understand if you can’t make it.

The Central City Christian church will be resuming Sunday school on Sunday, October 18th

Beginning Sunday August 16th we will go to one service at 9:00 am. We will continue social distance and wear masks. We will continue to do this until the next board meeting when we will re-evaluate the situation.

The Central City Christian Church will begin in-person meetings on May 17th, 2020. We will require everyone who attends to wear a mask during that time and to practice social distancing where we will sit in every other pew with families sitting together. In order to attend you must be symptom free for 14 days with the following symptoms:... Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fever Chills Repeated shaking with chills Muscle pain Headache Sore throat New loss of taste or smell If you are high risk we ask that you exercise caution in attending at this time. Also we need to know how many will be attending from your family. Thank you for your help in this.

Greetings to the Central City Christian Church, The Central City Christian Church will be dismissing all activities at the church this week May 10, 2020 because of the threat of the corona virus. One of the reasons we decided to do this, is that many within our assembly are in the category of the most vulnerable for the virus. It was a very tough decision, with much prayer and discussion. Our government has suggested no gathering of 10 or more, including faith based events.... We decided to make decisions on future services on a week by week basis. We are also going limit any visitation until this passes. Many nursing homes are not allowing any visitors also. We do have communion supplies here at the church building, if you need some. Please call the house number, and we will prepare what you need. We can include a list of suggested Scriptures, which you can read before partaking this upcoming Lord’s day. As to offerings, the church will still have expenses, including our missions. We understand some have lost their incomes through this and we will not impose any more hardship on them except to give according to how God has prospered you. So even though the virus precautions may cause us not to meet, may we suggest that you do one of three things. 1. Send it by US mail to the church building; 2. Hold it and put it in the offering plate the first Sunday we return; 3. You could drop it off at the house and I will get it to the church building. We love you church. We pray that this passes quickly. And we pray that the church can be the church show the world by text, phone, social media, that God still loves us and He is still on His throne! And may the church, after this passes, be stronger together united on the other side. May God bless His people!
