Attention Greene County Students The Central Greene Scholarship Trust has decided to make their scholarship application available online. The deadline for this scholarship will be May 1st. 1 CGST Academic Scholarship is available to graduating senior from each of the 5 districts in the county.... ATTENTION STUDENTS APPLYING FOR THE CGST SCHOLARSHIPS As this is a unique and fluid situation, the Central Greene Scholarship Trust has decided to extend the application deadline originally scheduled to be from 3/1 to 4/3 to 5 school days after school resumes. As change is the only thing that is constant, should new information warrant, the CGST Board may revisit and revise this deadline again.

A Trivia Night to Remember! A huge CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our in-house trivia team, the Gashouse Gorillas, for finishing 1st in this years Washington County Rotary Clubs annual trivia contest. This year's team answered an outstanding 44 out 50 questions correct. Finishing the night with 133 out of 150 total points. ... Great Job Team! Please join CGST in thanking, Jim Caruso, Mark Galway, Mark McCurdy, Matt Brandstetter, Bill Kelly, Mariaelena Amato, Matt Moon, and Mike Camilli. So far this trivia season, teams playing for the Central Greene Scholarship Trust have earned $2,250 for the scholarship fund. And there is still a few more contests to come!

Congratulations to the Gashouse Gorillas and their 1st place finish at the Allenport Civic Club's annual trivia contest. They earned $500 for the Scholarship fund. Playing for the Gorilla's this evening were, Jim Caruso, Bill Kelly, Mariaelena Amato, Mark McCurdy, Mark Galway, and Mike Camilli. Also Congratulations goes to this years CGST Trivia winner the Brass Menagerie, who finished 3rd at this years Allenport Civic Club. The Brass Menagerie also chose to play for the Scholarship fund and won $300. Congrats Trivia teams. Keep up the great work!

The Central Greene Scholarship Trust is pleased to announce that we will again be offering a scholarship to a graduating senior from each high school in Greene county. A representative will be in attendance at this program with applications. Our application window will be from March 1st to April 3rd. Students may see their guidance counselor for an application during the application window. Attendees to this program will be able to pick up the application early.

The Gashouse Gorillas had a secret weapon tonight!

Congratulations goes out to our in-house trivia team, the Gashouse Gorilla's for winning tonight's Rotary Club of California, Pennsylvania 2nd annual Trivia Smackdown Event. Also congratulations goes out to our 2019 7th Annual CGST Trivia Contest winner, The Brass Menagerie for finishing second at tonight's 2nd annual Trivia Smackdown event. Together both teams brought home a total of $750.00 for our scholarship fund! Great Job Teams! Well done Rotary Club of California, Pennsylvania and Lisa J. Buday, Attorney at Law for putting on an excellent contest! We'll be back next year. *editors note, Gashouse Gorillas and The Brass Menagerie were tied at the end of competition. However Gashouse Gorillas claimed first after answering more parts of the first tie-breaker question correctly.
