February is Black History Month and our resident Dance History expert, Caitlin Osborne, has a plethora of information to share including some lesser-known but still amazing black dancers. Case in point: The Nicholas Brothers. @CaitlinOsborneDance

Free Classes! This week is our Open House - an opportunity for you or someone you know to try out a dance class that you've always wanted to check out. The CPDW family has suffered a great loss as our long time student Tina Doll has passed away suddenly. She was a model of what recreational dancing could be - a joyful, life-long pursuit that feeds the soul and engages the mind. Tina was a bright light in adult tap class, and she loved performing, bringing humor and energy to CPDW concerts for more than 30 years. Her final performance in December 2020 included both tap and flamenco. We will miss her in the studio, and we app...reciate her family for remembering CPDW as a place that Tina could call home. Donations in Tina's memory will support CPDW's core mission - bringing dance to the community through classes, performances, and special events.
