The scrappy times are here again. Chadwick Optical started in 1980. The loan my parents received to start the business had an interest rate of 22%. I was born in 1982, and had my crib in the lab. My parents had no clue how to actually make glasses when they bought a shell of a bankrupt lab. They just knew they didn't want to work for "the man" anymore. Back in those times, "the man" was a company called American Optical. There were so many times in life when things were tight, but they made it work. Luckily, we've never really NOT been scrappy. We got this.

I was just up in the rafters running some new air lines, and I looked to my right to see this. A birds eye view of Chadwick Optical. This company has been a part of me for my entire life. It is like one of my children. And we will weather this storm, and come out stronger than ever.
