We had a great meeting once again. The theme was, "Remember Traveling?" The word of the evening was JUNKET - an extravagant trip or celebration, in particular one enjoyed by a government official at public expense. Stephen delivered a speech entitled "Start with a Single Step: My Journey to America."
Hope to see you at our next meeting, Monday, March 1 at 7 am. Andy will be Toastmaster. The theme is, "Remember Travel?" Come take an excursion with us! Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81496798767 | Meeting ID: 814 9679 8767 | Call-in Option: (301) 715-8592
Our Valentine's Day themed meeting was delightful. Amy was Toastmaster and shared traditions and celebrations around the world relating to the day. The Word of the evening was "Enamor" meaning 1. to be filled with a feeling of love for. 2. have a liking or admiration for. Andy spoke about the Australian/Emu Wars, and Stephen did a Toast to Toastmasters! We had an engaging time. Hope to see you MONDAY, MARCH 1 for our next meeting!

Wow! Our Backwards meeting was fun and educational! Stephen talked about "Are you Stressed? Eustressed is the Answer." Amy shared "The Genesis of Genesis" about the origins of the progressive rock band. See you in 2 weeks, 2/15 for our Valentine's Day meeting!
We had another delightful meeting this evening! The theme of the night was The First Chapter. Word of the evening was ENVISION. We had three prepared speeches - Pamela talked about Starting an Indoor Herb Garden, Amy shared about the Pack Horse Library Program, and Stephen answered the question "Who is the MIP?"
